<H3>How Families Can Help With Homework:</H3>
<H4><DL><DD>Provide a set location (table or desk) with good light and limited distractions.
<DD>Work with your student to set a schedule for homework.
<DD>Check in with your student using the tools already provided: the planner and math assignment sheet.
<DD>Help with organization, structure, and understanding instructions, <B>not</B> with the actual homework.
<DD>Provide a wall calendar to help track and break long term projects into smaller tasks.
<DD>Model focussed, productive worktime or reading. Use your student's reading log as an excuse to take a break and read for a half hour everyday yourself.</H4></DL><HR>
